William G. Bootz

William G. Bootz, of 657 S. Fourth St. Sharpsville, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday morning , March 3, 2013. He was 47. He was born in Sharon, PA on September 24, 1965, the son of the late Raymond L. and Joan W. (Watral) Bootz.. He was a 1983 graduate of Kennedy Catholic High School and went on to attend Penn State Unversity. He had worked as an assembly line worker at Regenex, in West Middlesex, PA. He had previously worked at U.S. Can in Hubbard, OH. Bill enjoyed reading, playing video games, watching movies, and spending time with his family. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his sister, Connie Bootz of Erie, PA. and his two brothers, Charles "Chuck" Bootz and his wife, Melanie, of Coco Beach, FL., and Gerard "Gerry" Bootz and his wife, Jill, of Sharpsville, PA, an aunt, Marilyn McFarland, of Hubbard, OH and two nieces, Emily and Sabrina Bootz and three nephews, Sean Buzzard, and Andrew and Nathan Bootz.. Also survivng are his faithful dog, Rebel. Donations in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Mercer County, P.O. Box 1046, Hermitage, PA 16148. There are no calling hours. Private funeral services on Friday , March 8, 2013, with Rev. Terry Mann,of Covenant Presbyterian Church officiating, at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 East State St.,Sharon, PA. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery Hermitage, Pa. Cremation services provided by the funeral home.
