Luretta Rossetti, of 486 Tamplin St., Sharon, PA. died on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at 6:45p.m. at O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center, Masury, OH after a brief illness. She was 97. She was born in Sharon, PA on October 17, 1915, the daughter of the late Menotti and Rose (Nichols) Flocco. Luretta was a 1933 graduate of Sharon High School. She was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart Sharon, PA. She had worked as a cook in the cafeteria of at the former Gamble School in Sharon., for over 20 years and had been a member of the former North Sharon Firemans Auxillary. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crocheting, and sewing. Luretta was the widow of Oliver Rossetti. whom she married on Sept. 12, 1936. He died on Nov. 3, 1997. She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Rosanne Vasconi of Sharon, PA, a niece, Carol Knapp, of Cape Cod, MS, and a nephew, Louis Sabella III, of Sebastian, FL. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceeded in death by her son, David Rossetti, who died in 1994, her step-father, Domenic Liburdi, her sisters, Tressa DeAngelo, Caroline Sabella, Mary Liburdi, and a brother, Anthony Liburdi. Donations in her memory may be made to the Church of the Sacred Heart, 40 S. Irvine Ave, Sharon, PA, 16146. Private family visitation will take place at Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home. Funeral service at Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, PA. at 11:00a.m. on Thursday, February 21st, 2 013 with Rev. Henry C. Andrae officiating. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage, Pa.
