Mr. John Jeffrey "Jay" Oris, 40, of Masury,OH, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at 11:40 p.m. ,in Lakewood Hospital, Cleveland, OH, after and extended illness. He was 40. He was born in Sharon, PA on July 12, 1972, the son of Louis J Oris and Rhonda Roche Oris. He was a 1991 graduate of Sharon High School where he was an outstanding member of the basketball team. He went on to attend Penn State University and Potomac college of VA. He worked as a self-employed mortgage broker. Jay loved all sports, cooking, spending time at the ocean, and was a good friend to all who knew him. He was of the Catholic faith. Besides his mother Rhonda Roche, of Masury, OH he is survived by his step-mother, Heather Oris,of Hermitage, PA, and his two sisters, Julie K. Oris of Hermitage,PA., Lesley F. Barlett and her husband, Mathew, of Sharon,PA. his maternal grandmother, Louise Roche, of Youngstown, OH, along with two nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also survivng is his beloved dog, Baxter. He was preceeded in death by his father, Louis Oris, his maternal grandfather, John Roche, and his paternal grandmother, Kathryn Oris.
